EVERYONE
DRIVES LIKE
A TWAT
An observational comedy about driving, human behaviour and the curious fact that everyone else on the road is apparently an idiot.
Other people's driving is appalling.
Ours, obviously, is completely understandable.
Everyone Drives Like A Twat is a journey through middle-lane hoggers, merge-in-turn crusaders, parking sensors, imaginary passenger brake pedals and all the tiny acts of stupidity that turn perfectly reasonable people into complete lunatics the moment they get behind a steering wheel.
ABOUT THE BOOK
Same roads. More twats.
Driving is one of the few activities where almost everybody believes they're better at it than almost everybody else.
Their mistake is evidence of incompetence. Ours had a perfectly reasonable explanation involving the sun, the sat-nav, a badly positioned bollard and somebody distracting us.
Everyone Drives Like A Twat takes a look at the psychology, hypocrisy and everyday absurdity of life on the road — including the uncomfortable possibility that the twat might occasionally be us.
Their mistake gets a headline. Ours gets a documentary.
“Everyone drives like a twat. Obviously, I don't mean me.”
